My Favourite Place

My Favourite Place The sound of spinning bicycle wheels rushing down the pavement like swaying flowers in the wind. I feel safe. I feel at home.

There is one lonely crooked bench in the centre of the green where I always sat with my friends making memories. I smells of aged wood and dust. It has the metal feet that spring out onto the soft grass. I can smell the tangy salt that was been whisked away from the sea. This place brings me happiness and joyous memories, such as a fair that runs every year or buying delicious, mouth-watering ice cream with my Mum, Dad and brother. I see sunshine coloured daffodils springing trough the surface of the long, wispy grass and the ice cream van is singing it’s cheerful tune for all to hear. The gentle breeze is stroking my face but the vibrant sun covering my legs like a blanket. I’m calm and positive and welcome.
